Now I really couldn't help blogging the deliciously fashionable 21st of Zoe Thomson that I attended the other weekend because... well do I really need a reason? (Also do I even need to mention the Dion Lee piece she's wearing?)


AND I couldn't resist showing off this little devilish number (that sold out so quickly) which I have fallen head over heels for (sorry Jordan). If you've been a regularly comer to this blog or know me very well I kind of detest tight short dresses (except for maybe this striped one) because well... they ironically actually make me feel super unsexy.

Despite this piece being so loose, the completely open back leaves a certain sex appeal (gotta provide a bit of mystery & wanting right?) - without making you look and feel 3/4's naked. The ink navy also allowed me to stray (not too far) from black. Paired it with my everyday accessories and simple shoes and voilà!

BEAUTY EDIT #1: My Daily Makeup

Ever since I graduated from school I have found myself more and more drawn to the realms of all things beauty!

This is easily my go-to trusty make-up that I've been doing for probably the last 3 or 4 years (if you hadn't noticed already I am in a very serious committed relationship with my eyeliner) unless its for going out or a special event. I try not to go for anything too overbearing so I keep it simple, quick and all-in-all no fuss.
The only things that often vary are my lip products and I've linked below other products that I often switch to.

What's been great with keeping the style of my makeup the same is that you try many different products until you find the perfect one (or few hopefully) and they are all listed down below.

So I turned date night into a shoot & blogging affair (whoops) but I couldn't not dedicate a post to my first COS purchase and how beautiful is this shirt!? My interest has been progressively turning to navy instead of black and it has been presenting interesting styling challenges for myself and my wardrobe. But the collar, shape and bargain this top was decided it for me - dressed it down with some denim cut-offs and paired with my most sparkly earrings, chucked on a pair of neutral heels and I had a date outfit.

Even though I've had one more month of summer than everyone else to escape the feeble winter of Australia even I cannot handle - there's something about the Aussie summer isn't there? Although last summer I was living the lift of post-HSC, working hard (or hardly working?) and traipsing around my mother country of South Africa  - this summer I'm still feeling the good vibrations but with a completely different set up. 

I've been really feelin' the love, spending time with family, enjoying the sun and water and honestly just trying a whole new of things! Hope y'all are also making the most of your summer too :)

Saved the best til last - my absolute favourite city! I can't exactly pinpoint it but there is something about London that just gives the best vibes. Maybe it's the shopping, or the fact that there is always new things to do, or that it is so easy to get around - or just the overall culture - I honestly just fall in love every time!
