I finally made the chop! It was probably about time to cut that mane off, to be fair it was getting out of hand and quite unhealthy. I've been wanting to cut it for quite a while now and so far I have been loving it!

The 70's trend has been on fire this season but I have to say I didn't quite feel heat until coming across this shirt. The colour is a lot more subtle but those bell sleeves are definitely something. Paired it with some 90's mom jeans and my favourite black wedges you've got an outfit that isn't too 70's overbearing.

Since the Aussie weather is quite temperamental, it's always a good idea to have those trans seasonal and winter pieces quick at hand.

This grey sweater has probably been my most worn winter piece this year. The shape and silhouette I fell in love with and the grey coordinates with anything and everything. White jeans are the perfect item for those not-so-hot summer days - which of course go perfectly with the white sneaker treads.

Also say a warm hello to my new everyday bag! I found that I didn't have anything for everyday, just a lot of tote bags and those tiny ones for going out occassions, so it was time to invest in my very own (beautiful may I say) go-to bag.

Here is a little photo diary compilation of my recent week in Melbourne. I highly recommend Patricia Coffee Brewers & Mamasita as my favourite food places this time around. Also the Melbourne Museum, and the National Galley of Victoria of course. I also recommend packing for every type of weather possible haha.

This would definitely have to be one of the more daring monochrome outfits I've worn and wouldn't have thought to try if I wasn't mucking about in my room, frantically trying to pack for a week in Melbourne. Midi skirts have been in for a while now, and I admit as a petite sized human I struggle with the styling. But since I have been obsessed with neckties, look at what a versatile item it turned out to be!

Black boots are not only an essential for the colder months but in my opinion all year round, making it one of the best investments for your wardrobe. For a comfortable pair, it is worth digging deeper into your pocket because not only are they weatherproof but super easy to slip on and run out the door.

Now I know not everyone is a watch person, but I have to say my life changed when I invested in a watch that went with everything. Such an effortless way to accessorise every day - because yknow you need the to tell time and all. Trust me, I am just as surprised as you are to see me in all white, but who wouldn't fall for this jumpsuit? I am a number one fan of jumpsuits (exhibit A, exhibit B) because they are so damn easy. You've got an outfit all in one piece making it a no-brainer way to dress all the time (that's until you have to go to the bathroom). Take the opportunity to play up with accessories & shoes with a simple simple white piece perfect for spring & summer.

I admit I've never played much sport but if I did this is what I would envision my glorified outfit to be. White sneakers basically makes it dead easy to mix high-low pieces which I talked about in a recent post any outfit making it acceptable to wear almost everything in the daytime and nighttime. And by combining them with a structured mini dress with minimal detailing means one of the easiest outfits for those "nothing-to-wear" days.
