What definitely made this festive season for me was my first work party, held at The Grounds in Alexandria. What an astounding venue! I was surprised at how the rustic feel could create that perfect bridge between a casual and formal event, great for a work function. Definitely worth checking out!

Mind you, also getting to see Kevin Bacon the pig was a definite added bonus. And of course those oh so pretty drinks.
