HOW I DO BLACK PUMPS

Vintage polo neck
Calvin Klein jeans
Tony Bianco heels

Winterwear can often feel very effortful and repetitive for me with heavy pieces and lots of layering so I turned to a killer heel for a quick fix. Heels like these don't need feel a high maintenance outfit to go with them so I contrasted them with my most boyfriend-y Calvins and a plain polo (to not only keep warm) for a relaxed vibe. And I know you won't believe me but these babies are so comfortable, I could run miles.

THE LITTLE BLACK PLAYSUIT

Forever New jumpsuit
Woolworths shoes

Pink Loulou signet ring
Class ring
Carpe Diem ring
Tiffany & Co ring

My my, isn't this the loveliest jumpsuit there ever was. When the culottes trend dropped, I instantly thought, "they have to be a short girl's nightmare!" because three-quarter pants have never been flattering on me in the past. But I was clearly very wrong.

I kept the rest of the look minimal with hair up and my strappy black heels that I love so much...And then practically bathed in the sunlight in a field.

I am once again going travelling very soon! So be sure to to tune in :) In the mean time, do check out my most recent Melbourne trip, or my week in London last year, or the few days I spent in New York!

LIQUID METAL

Topshop dress
General Pants crop top
Zara jacket
Converse

So.Much.Silver. I know. But strangely enough I don't feel as loud as this outfit probably actually is. There's something about restricting yourself to one colour that really feels slick.

Slip dresses have been one of my favourite trends but one of the harder pieces to style as they can feel somewhat exposing so I broke the metallics up a little with a bit of grey layering and converse (although not sure if it really helped not replicating a disco ball). I do love a bit of metallic though.

Autumn is certainly calling for jackets, great for layering and coping with the crazy (understatement?) weather in Sydney at the moment! I can't say I'm not still mentally preparing for the fast approaching winter months ahead though...

MIDNIGHT BLUES

Country Road shirt
American Apparel shorts
Bettina Liano jacket
Steve Madden heels
Left hand: Pink Loulou signet, class ring
Right hand: Tiffany & Co ring

I have been quite taken with navy as of late with these recent additions to my wardrobe. Love it as a slight alternative to black, since it can still be quite classic with the right pieces.
Instantly fell in love with all the pieces here and picked them all up in the sale earlier this year (sadly you cannot see my snazzy trunk shorts). And I couldn't help chucking on a nice strappy heel to finish the look.

FIRST BASE

Zara top
Jag jeans
Marcs jacket
Kirsten Ash pendant
Kate Spade bag
Pink Loulou plain signet ring
MAC satin lipstick in 'Twig'

When the colder weather is approaching, I feel like it's always a good time to re-establish and/or update your basics.

There's quite a lot I've changed up lately (surprisingly)! First off is my my-lip-colour-but-better lipstick from MAC - I tend to just pop a bit on and smudge it in with my fingers. And accessory-wise my lovely sister bought me a new pendent and I've added a few new rings which I promise you'll in in upcoming posts :)

I also opted for updated version of the cami - just as slinky and sexy but delicate in its colour and structure. And lastly, for denim, I picked up these slightly distressed cropped skinnies because who doesn't love new jeans that fit perfectly!

DUEX

Country Road denim shirt
Lee Sonic denim skirt
Seed boots
Seed hat
Daniel Wellington watch
Glebe markets bag

Ugh who doesn't love a good double denim? Well, me. I am such a sucker for denim because it's classic and so easy - seems scary but just match up the colours and you're good to go! You could opt for a bit more colour but I kept my accessories simple and dark for a more laid back look.

This isn't the first time I've shot in Hyde Park and you can totally tell why.
